Chick Fil a Scholarship for America
Chick fil a scholarship program has been established by Chick-fil-A to support students who intend to pursue graduate, college, or vocational education.
Applications for the 2026 program will be accepted from August 19, 2025, to October 28, 2025, at 3:00 PM Central Time. We appreciate you showing interest in the program!
Scholarship America®, the leading provider of scholarships and other education support programs for individuals, organizations, foundations, and associations in the country, oversees the program. Scholarship America’s evaluation staff reviews eligible applications, and eligibility for specific programs is decided at the sponsor’s exclusive discretion.
Eligibility for the Chick Fil a Scholarship
You must fulfill a few essential conditions in order to be eligible:
You have to be a citizen of Canada, Puerto Rico, or the United States.
You should be enrolled in an accredited school for the next academic year, either as an undergraduate or graduate student. As long as you intend to enroll in college or university in the fall of the following year, you can still apply if you are a senior in high school.
A referral from a community leader, coach, or educator who can attest to your accomplishments is required. We accept up to three letters of recommendation.
You must demonstrate your involvement in your community within the past 12 months and discuss the good influence you have had.
On a 4.0 scale, your GPA should be at least 3.0 (or higher). A transcript with your name, school, classes, and GPA will be requested to be uploaded.
You have to prove that you are in need of money.
At the time of application, you cannot be working for Chick-fil-A, Inc. or a Chick-fil-A® restaurant. Additionally, you are not permitted to be the spouse or dependant of a Chick-fil-A operator or employee.
Requirement for the Chick Fil a Scholarship
The following files must be uploaded with your application:
entire grade transcripts as of right now. Online or unofficial transcripts must include the name of the student, the name of the school, the grades and credit hours earned for each course, and the semester in which the course was taken.
A copy of the first two pages of your parents’ IRS 1040 income tax form or your own T-1 Canadian income tax return, if you are not listed as a dependent.
The deadline for submitting at least one online recommendation form on your behalf is November 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM Central Time. You can list as many as three recommenders.
Without the electronic submission of all necessary documents, your application is incomplete.
Award
- Every year, at least thirteen $25,000 scholarships are given out.
- The money can be used for books, tuition, fees, and other educational costs.
- Scholarship payments are paid to the educational institution directly.
- The recipients take part in a leadership and mentorship program that lasts one year.
- A component of the larger Chick-fil-A Scholars Initiative
How to Apply for the Chick Fil a Scholarship
Start your application as soon as possible to give yourself enough time to get ready.
A transcript including your name, school name, GPA, and credit hours should be requested and uploaded.
Give thorough explanations of your scholastic accomplishments and volunteer work.
Request that a recommender fill out the application’s recommendation section.
Before the final date, submit your entire application; late applications will not be considered.
